Bronze Ring Gate Latch
Our bronze ring gate latches are two-sided gate latches that operable from both sides of the gate. The yard-side of the bronze ring latch will have a backplate also with a ring on it, but the ring will be attached to a latch-arm. Turning the ring from either side lifts the arm out of the catch so the gate can open. On the alternate of the gate, you'll have a backplate with a ring on it.
Installation Tip - Use a gate stop
The gate stop is an alignment device that can prevent hinge, latch and gate damage and will also help prolong the life of your gate.

If a gate stop is not installed on your gate, the risk of damage to the gate and its hardware is increased and as a result, normal usage of the gate can result in fractured handles and hinges. The image to the left demonstrates the kind of fracture that can occur when a strong gust of wind or a heavy hand closes the gate without a gate stop.

Once installed outdoors, the metallic bronze gate hardware darkens to an old-penny brown then eventually to a greenish/blue patina. These colors compliment the browns and greens in nature and do not distract from the natural beauty of the landscape.
